Continuous Compréhensive Evaluation (CCE) is a progressive assessment system designed to provide a holistic understanding of students’ development, encompassing scholastic and co-scholastic aspects. While it aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, and emotional growth, its implementation has faced challenges in India, such as teacher preparedness, resource limitations, and resistance to change. This article examines the challenges associated with CCE, the opportunities it offers for improving education, and best practices for effective implementation, with a focus on the Indian educational context. Insights are drawn from policy initiatives, case studies, and feedback from educators to present actionable recommandations for enhancing CCE's efficacy.
