Abstract: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted to assess prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea among clients on atypical antipsychotics therapy attending psychiatric OPD at selected hospital, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The study included 130 clients selected using a non-probability purposive sampling technique. The conceptual framework was based on Betty Neuman’s Model. Data were collected using a structured demographic questionnaire and the STOP-Bang Questionnaire. The findings revealed that 56.2% of the participants were at moderate risk, 39.2% were at high risk (severe), and 4.6% were at low risk (mild) for obstructive sleep apnea. The mean STOP-Bang score was 4.20 ± 0.97. Statistical analysis showed no significant association between obstructive sleep apnea and the selected demographic variables (p > 0.05)
