Abstract: Social media's ascent has changed international relations by giving governments the ability to connect immediately with audiences all around the world. India has accepted these forums to achieve its foreign policy goals and promote international involvement as a growing economic and strategic force. The present study explores India's digital diplomacy initiatives, emphasizing its function in increasing its international visibility, fortifying public diplomacy, and tackling serious issues with crisis management. This study investigates the social media strategies of the Indian government using a mixed-methods approach that includes research and information analysis. It focuses on the official accounts of the Ministry of External Affairs, Indian embassies, other pertinent agencies and relevant institutions. It assesses how successfully India's communicating, audience interaction, and digital campaign reach promote national interests. The study highlights both the opportunities and challenges in India’s digital diplomacy efforts. Social media gives the government a platform for coordinated efforts and real-time interaction, but it also opens it to problems like fake news and disinformation, which may frustrate diplomatic goals.  By examining these relationships, the study provides insightful information about how India uses social media to control views throughout the world, manage emergencies, and work with decision-makers from other countries. The main objective of this research is to improve knowledge of the evolving environment of digital diplomacy in international relations and the potential of social media as a platform for interaction and international expansion.
