India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a key guide for the nation's education future. This paper gives a close look at NEP 2020. It checks its effects and finds the problems for it to work well. The paper looks at core parts of NEP 2020. This includes changes to what is taught, how teachers teach, and how schools are run. It also sees how these changes may affect education. The study looks at what's good and hard about the policy's focus. It highlights complete education, new tech, and making education open to all. This study adds to talks about fixing education. It gives helpful ideas for leaders, teachers, and those who carry out NEP 2020. The NEP was updated in 1992. It was first written in 1986. The current government promised a new education policy to change education. The government approved the NEP in July 2020. It aims to bring new changes to schools and colleges. The goal is for India to be a top global center for knowledge. The NEP also changed the name of one ministry to the Ministry of Education. The new policy is based on key ideas. These are open access, fairness, quality, cost, and good management. It wants to change schools and colleges. Education should be complete, fit many subjects, and change with the times. This matches the goals for growth set for 2030.
