In today’s fast-paced and highly competitive IT industry, young professionals often face intense workloads, tight deadlines, and continuous technological changes, making them particularly vulnerable to burnout. This study explores the role of leadership support in managing and reducing burnout among young employees in IT organizations. Supportive leadership, characterized by empathy, effective communication, recognition, and work-life balance facilitation, plays a crucial role in enhancing employee well-being and job satisfaction.

The research examines how leadership behaviours influence stress levels, emotional exhaustion, and overall performance of young professionals. By analyzing various leadership styles and their impact on employee morale, the study highlights that leaders who provide guidance, encouragement, and psychological support significantly reduce burnout symptoms. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of creating a positive organizational culture where employees feel valued and supported.The findings suggest that organizations that invest in supportive leadership practices not only improve employee retention but also enhance productivity and organizational effectiveness. This research contributes to understanding how leadership can act as a strategic tool in promoting mental well-being and sustaining workforce performance in the IT sector.
