This study focuses on the performance evaluation of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC), a significant public transport provider in India. The research analyzes operational efficiency, financial performance, service quality, and passenger satisfaction using both quantitative and qualitative metrics. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fleet utilization, fuel efficiency, punctuality, cost recovery ratio, and customer feedback are assessed. The findings highlight the strengths and challenges faced by TGRTC, offering insights for strategic improvements. Recommendations are proposed to enhance service quality, optimize operations, and promote sustainable transport practices to meet the growing urban and rural mobility demands. This evaluation aims to assist policymakers and stakeholders in making informed decisions to improve the overall effectiveness of the TGRTC and similar public transportation systems.
